"Oh, you're so rich." No, I'm not rich. I just happened to believe that one should spoil themselves with good food + amazing ambiance, once in a blue moon. Back to #CHEF (cafe hopping with Eros and Fufy/Éffy), We decided to try out this place I've been wanting to try out since July, haha! Truth be told, I tempted Eros with the photos of the place! God knows he cannot resist a place like this. I've been here before and that was a thousand years ago, and that was when I couldn't afford anything. Not shitting you, I was just accompanying my friends. Anyway, sssh, let's carry on!

Before I begin, I just want to apologize to those of you read my blog (and also to myself), that I stopped blogging on cafes for a long while now. If you click on the tag #cafehopping, you'll notice that Episode 8-15 are missing. That's because of my hard disk incident. To some of you it may be a minor setback, but it was a huge one for me. Honestly, I tried blogging about them but I just couldn't do it. Well, that 's alright. Eros did an amazing job on the reviews as always! So go on and check out his blog on the episodes that aren't available here! Thank you loves! 

Now, on with the review! I found out about this place when I was scrolling aimlessly on Facebook and boy, was I glad! First of all, the signboard itself told me that it will be a worth a visit. Lucky me, Eros came back to Penang for a week, so I suggested the place! Initially, we were supposed to be there on their Opening Day, but knowing Penangites, we decided to skip the hustle and bustle.

If I ever did plan on writing about this, it would have been way overdue. So, I had the chance to stay in this beautiful hotel in KL back in August and coincidentally, it's right beside Empire Damansara. Empire Damansara kinda reminded me of Straits Quay but in a more rustic vibe. Not complaining because every corner were very picturesque. Anyway, I saw that Haraju-Cube is located in Empire Damansara thanks to the TV in the hotel room. There were slide shows of available eateries shown on the TV in the hotel room, which I found very smart and helpful because it helps guests to know their way around plus there were promo codes only for hotel guests!

I'm back with another episode! I'm finally up to date with Eros, about time! Speaking of Eros, he is featured on Hermo.my Excuse My Beauty! I'm so happy for him, it's such a great opportunity and he deserves it because that boy is a skincare maniac! Go check him out on his blog ! ❤

 It has been pretty tiring for me and I've been giving my face a break tho. I haven't been suffocating my face with makeup. Pretty much detoxed my face for a week and it has been really good. I actually planned on detoxing this week but this time it was a failed one so I shall attempt on another during sem break. Also, I've decided to watch Pretty Little Liars from the beginning so I can catch up on the latest seasons but I'm already almost done with Season 2.

  Now, let me remind you all again that I am WAYYYYYYYYYYYY behind for this post. This is a very special episode because it was EROS'S DAY. Yep, he turned 19 on this day, which was last year November (haha told you I was late)!

CAFES w EROS | EP5 : BLACK KETTLE

 I'm back with another episode of this series! I am still way way wayyyy behind compared to Eros but the important thing is not giving up, which I'm not. Why am I typing at 3 in the morning? Explains why no amount of foundation or concealer can cover up this black hole dark circles. 

 This cafe happened last semester when Eros and I were going around the town area hunting down for assignment purposes. For some weird reason all the managers were away on that day. Eros concluded that they all went for a Cafe Manager Meeting, hahah! Sounds legit to me. After scouting for (what feels like a hundred) a few cafes and getting tired of rejections, we were thrilled when Black Kettle said yes! Eros was the one who talked to them, so he got to see the place and the moment he got back in the car, he was saying how nice the cafe looked and that their pastries looks amazing. 

  The next visit (still for assignment purposes), we decided to just have lunch there. It was a very good excuse to try out the food and also for blog purposes. Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car so some of the photos today are Eros’s one. I’m so careless, why? 

Anyway, our guests for this episode are Gerald, Euri and Yana. Euri and Yana are Eros’s flesh, haha no, they’re his siblings. I’m so lame today, help me. Probably the effect of insufficient sleep. No seriously, I haven’t been getting my hours for a week plus, like I should. Haha!

So, I'm back with Episode 3! Hahaha, thank goodness we're having sem break right now so Eros is back in Melaka therefore we're on a break. Which means, no cafe hunting for a month, which means I get to update this series! *claps gleefully*

Anyway, we visited this little cafe because of Amylia. She works there and asked us to pay the place a little visit because she guaranteed that it's really nice so we took her word for it!

CAFES w EROS | EP2 : MACALLUM CONNOISSEURS

I am super late for this post. Eros is on Episode FAR FROM WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW, and here I am only starting to type out Episode 2 of Café Hopping w Eros and Fufy. Hahah! He is way more efficient than I am, but then I have been either too busy and if I have the time, I’d either be too tired.

A couple of months ago, Eros and I decided to go to Macallum Connoisseur and we invited #bevin ( Bella and Kevin ) to tag along. Gerald was supposed to join us but being the busy boy he is, he couldn’t. My god, I remember the struggles I had with the DSLR – the ISO, shutter speed and aperture. I was new okay. I did not know how to function that contraption.  I’m better now tho, hehe.

I AM BACK (like I promise) !

 Eros (my very good college mate/business partner/partner in crime) and I have this vision of us, having our own show called 'TONIGHT W EROS AND FUFY'. So we always had fun planning things and pretending that we have our own show. Anyway, if you follow me on Instagram, you would know I have been going to cafes quite often. I now have this list of cafes I want to go to during my semester break. 

 Last Friday I had PDL exam and the weather was really nice about it as when I came out from the hall it was raining heavily. The gang and I went for Tom Yam at Prangin then after that Eros followed me home to pack my stuff for volley that evening. Hah! On the way there I suddenly thought about Frank Laurent because it has been a while since I've been itching to go there! Convinced Eros to visit the place so here we are!

I actually went to Haven Harbour last week to finish up my assignments but I like the place so much I couldn't resist going back again this week! I was in the mood so I decided to write about the place.
